This immersive tour has it all. Two nights in Sydney sets a civilized tone with visits to the city’s most famous attractions on a guided tour. Then, you’ll fly deep into the Outback to Uluru National Park where you’ll be treated to the memorable experience of seeing Mt. Olga and Ayers Rock at sunset. In extraordinary Kakadu National Park, you’ll stay at the wonderful Gagudju Crocodile Hotel – built in the shape of a 250-meter crocodile – and enjoy a Yellow Waters boat cruise. You’ll see the sights in Darwin, including the fascinating Darwin Museum, and take a skyway cable ride into the Kuranda Range. Finally in Port Douglas, you’ll board a high-speed catamaran, setting out for an unforgettable day at the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 1 Sydney
Arrive in Sydney, where you’ll get to know your fellow travelling companions at a festive Welcome Reception with your tour director. Overnight Amora Jamison Sydney.
Day 2 Sydney
Visit Sydney’s must-see sights on a guided city tour. You’ll see Bondi Beach, Watson’s Bay, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair and more. Tonight you can explore Sydney on your own, perhaps with a short walk to the historic Rock’s district. Overnight Amora Jamison Sydney. (Breakfast included)
Day 3 Sydney/Ayers Rock
A morning flight takes you deep into the heart of the Outback to Ayers Rock. You’ll tour Mt. Olga and Uluru National Park, then witness the colors of Ayers Rock at sunset. Overnight Sails Resort. (Breakfast included)
Day 4 Ayers Rock/Darwin/Kakadu
Today you’ll fly to Darwin for the scenic journey along the Stuart Highway and into Kakadu National Park. Dinner tonight is served at your world-famous hotel, built in the shape of a giant crocodile. Overnight Gagudju Crocodile Hotel. (Breakfast and Dinner included)
Day 5 Kakadu/Darwin
A fantastic Yellow Waters boat cruise takes you to the heart of sensational Kakadu National Park. Watch for abundant wildlife, tropical flowering plants and birds within the park’s wetlands. A tour of the city of Darwin includes highlights from the Darwin Museum to East Point where you´ll enjoy sweeping views of Darwin Harbour. Overnight Crowne Plaza. (Breakfast and lunch included)
Day 6 Darwin/Port Douglas
This morning you’ll fly to Cairns for your transfer to the base of the Kuranda Range and a ride on the incredible Skyrail Kuranda Cableway with views of the rainforest and ocean. Later you’ll proceed to Port Douglas, where you can relax on the beach or enjoy the amenities of one of Australia’s premier resorts. Overnight Sheraton Mirage Resort. (Breakfast included)
Day 7 Port Douglas
This morning, a high-speed catamaran delivers you to a full day exploring the Outer Great Barrier Reef. You’ll have time to enjoy a semi-submersible submarine tour, snorkeling, an optional helicopter ride or a scuba dive tour (additional cost). The evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Day 8 Port Douglas/Sydney/Embark Ship
Fly from Cairns to Sydney, where your land tour ends and a spectacular Princess voyage begins. (Breakfast is included)
